Line 1: Line 1:
-Things we are asking for (civil rights)+Things we want:

-  No Discrimination +
-  * Rights to Gender Affirming Care (Healthcare)  +  - **Freedom.** Transgender people have the right to exist, and demands that governments recognize our existance.
-  * Passports/Government Documents   +  **Right to Work.** No discrimination in the workplace based on identified gender.
-  * To be Called by the Pronouns and Names we identify as  +  - **Gender Education.** Transgender, intersex, and non-binary should be taught in schools.
-  * Gender Education in School+  **Gender Affirming Care Medical Access.** Access to hormones and surgeries are necessary to save lives.  This includes coverage for medical treatments, as well as medical studies being funded and conducted in  support of transitioning.
+  **Right to be identified as one's own gender identity.** Transgender people's pronouns should be used whereever gender pronouns are normally used. This includes our gender to be listed on government documents, when gender option is available.
+  - **Right to Public and Private Spaces.** Trans people have the right to use bathroom of the gender we identify as in order to be safe, all my with access to stores, schools, etc.
+  - **Anti-discrimnation laws.** Gender identity must be added as a protected class. Trans people must not be discriminated against, This encompasses but not limited to not denying funding to schools, support lines, and healthcare facilities supporting transgender individuals. Transgender people must not be discriminated against in court systems either.
+  - **Label Transgender Homicide as Hate Crimes.** Far to often Transgender individuals are assaulted and killed based on being trans. Police rarely mark them as hate crimes. Offenders must be tried for hate crimes and held accountable.
+  - **Rights to Privacy.** Transgender people must be able to seal their old name so it’s not publicly available. Their name may become privately available only with consent.
+  - **Rights to common decency.** Transgender people must not be deadnamed or misgendered intentionally, and should be illegal to do so.
 +
 +What We Believe:
 +
 +
+   - Many governments actively deny that transgender people do not exist.
+   - Transgender people must be protected from work discrimination.
+   - The public is generally unaware of transgender history, why people identify as trans, and transition information.
